2 Injured in Wasco 2-Car Crash at Highway 46 and Rowlee Road
Wasco, California (November 16, 2017) – Two people were injured in a traffic collision in Wasco, Kern County, on Wednesday, November 15, according to a local news source.
The accident reportedly occurred at about 12:30 p.m. in the area of Highway 46 and Rowlee Road.
Officials say a white Chevrolet van was traveling on the road when it came upon a stopped car which was about to make a turn at the intersection.
The van swerved to avoid the collision with the stopped car and drove into the path of an oncoming GMC Yukon. The two vehicles collided head-on.
The drivers of the two vehicles were trapped in their vehicles following the collision.
The two motorists and a passenger of the Yukon were injured and were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The names and condition of the victims were not immediately revealed.
