1 Killed in Santa Rosa Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 101 near Mendocino Avenue
Santa Rosa, California (December 22, 2017) – Vicki Caraway, 67, was identified as the woman who was killed in a traffic accident in Santa Rosa on Wednesday, December 20.
The fatal multi-vehicle collision occurred on the northbound lanes of Highway 101 near Mendocino Avenue at about 5 p.m.
Caraway’s Honda Civic was stopped on the northbound lanes when her car was rear-ended by Ford E-250 operated by Drew Carlson.
The collision triggered a chain-reaction collision involving a Honda Accord, a Ford Focus and another Honda Civic.
Caraway was killed in the collision.
No other person was injured.
An investigation to establish the cause of the accident is ongoing.
