Woman Killed in Thermal Pedestrian Accident at 66th Avenue and Tyler Street
Thermal, California (January 3, 2018) – 26-year-old Veronica Rosales was identified as the woman who was fatally struck by a vehicle on Sunday evening, December 31, in Thermal.
According to a local news report, the accident occurred at around 8:00 p.m. in the area of 66th Avenue and Tyler Street.
Rosales, a resident of Thermal, had been walking across a street at the intersection when she was struck by a Chrysler.
The emergency teams responding to the incident at the crash found the woman lying unresponsive on the street. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two occupants of the Chrysler were unhurt.
It is believed that the pedestrian was intoxicated at the time of the accident. However, an investigation is ongoing.
