Teen Killed in Palo Cedro Dirt Bike Accident at Old Highway 44 and Stillwater Identified
Palo Cedro, California (November 14, 2017) – Tyler Skeete, 16, of Redding, was identified as the teenager killed in a dirt bike accident in Palo Cedro, Shasta County, on Friday, November 10.
According to the CHP, the accident occurred in the area of Old Highway 44 and Stillwater at about 1:30 p.m.
Officials say the deceased and another teen were riding their bikes on a private property when they collided head-on.
The two riders sustained major injuries and were rushed to a local hospital.
Skeete was pronounced dead a short time later.
The identity of the second teen was not immediately revealed.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
