2 Injured in Riverside DUI Crash at Lincoln Avenue and Monroe Street
Riverside, California (November 13, 2017) – A woman was injured in a suspected DUI collision in Riverside on Sunday, November 12.
The two-car crash occurred in the area of Lincoln Avenue and Monroe Street at about 7:30 a.m.
Officials say the woman, believed to be in her 40s, was driving her vehicle when she collided with a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old man.
The injured woman, who was trapped in her vehicle, was rescued before she was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle sustained minor injuries and was hospitalized.
The man was later cited for DUI.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
