Sean Vasko and 3 Children Hurt in Car Crash on Highway 49 near Sandra Road in Oroville
Oroville, California (June 12, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of one of the four people who were injured in a fatal car crash in Oroville on Monday afternoon, June 10.
According to a local news source, the fatal car accident happened on Highway 49 near Sandra Road at about 3:45 p.m.
As per the report, 95-year-old Thomas Diermier was driving a Lexus northbound on the roadway when he veered into the southbound lanes for unknown reasons and collided head-on with a GMC Denali driven by 38-year-old Sean Vasko.
The Lexus is reported to have caught fire after the collision.
Diermier was killed in the accident.
Vasko and three juvenile passengers were injured in the collision and were rushed to area hospitals for treatment.
No further information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
