2 Injured in Santa Ana Auto-Pedestrian Accident on 2233 West 2nd Street
Santa Ana, California (December 19, 2017) – At least two people were injured in an alleged hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Sunday, December 17.
According to a statement by the Santa Ana Police Department, the accident occurred at 2233 West 2nd Street at about 2:26 a.m.
As per the report, two pedestrians were crossing the road when they were hit by a black sedan.
One of the two unidentified pedestrians sustained major injuries and was rushed to a trauma center at a local hospital while the second victim was treated at the scene and released.
Meanwhile, the authorities are yet to locate and arrest the driver of the sedan who fled the scene on foot after the accident.
An investigation to establish the cause of the accident is ongoing.
