1 Injured in San Diego 2-Vehicle Crash on 80 Freeway near Mission Center Road
San Diego, California (November 18, 2017) – At least one person was injured in a car accident in San Diego on Friday, November 17, according to a local news source.
The two-vehicle collision reportedly occurred on the eastbound lanes of the 80 Freeway near Mission Center Road at about 12:30 a.m.
Although the manner in which the collision occurred was unknown at the time of reporting, one person was trapped inside a black sedan which overturned after the collision.
The injured victim was extricated and taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital for treatment of major injuries.
The identity of the patient was not immediately established.
Officials believe intoxication was a factor in the collision.
An investigation is ongoing.
