Woman Injured in Midway District Pedestrian Accident at Sports Arena and Rosecrans
San Diego, California (November 20, 2017) – A pedestrian was injured in an alleged hit-and-run accident in the Midway District neighborhood of San Diego on Saturday, November 18.
According to a local news source, the pedestrian accident occurred in the area of Sports Arena Boulevard and Rosecrans Street at about 2 a.m.
As per a statement by the San Diego police, the pedestrian, a 48-year-old woman, had been crossing a road at the intersection when she was hit by a vehicle. The woman was using a crosswalk.
The unidentified woman sustained major injuries including a fractured shoulder and was rushed to a local hospital.
Meanwhile, the police are yet to locate the motorist who fled the scene after hitting the woman. The description of the vehicle was not provided.
