Officer Thomas Brickley Injured in Sonora Motorcycle Accident on Highway 108 at South Washington Street/Lime Kiln Road
Sonora, California (June 26, 2019) – Officer Thomas Brickley has been identified as the motorcyclist hurt after a traffic collision early Saturday morning in the area of Sonora, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened a while after 12:30 a.m. Saturday, June 22, on Highway 108 at the South Washington Street/Lime Kiln Road.
As per the CHP officials, a man was riding a 2008 Honda motorcycle westbound on Highway 108 when a patrol vehicle that was parked on the should of the roadway made a U-turn in front of him and the two ultimately crashed.
Responding paramedics airlifted the rider to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto for treatment of severe injuries. The driver of the patrol vehicle Officer Thomas Brickley was treated for minor injuries.
No additional details concerning this crash were provided.
