Man Killed in San Diego Motorcycle Accident on Ingraham Street
San Diego, California (November 30, 2017) – Mike Wilson, 65, was identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in a collision on Sunday, November 26.
According to a local news source, the accident occurred in the 3700 block of Ingraham Street at about 9:20 p.m.
Wilson was riding his motorcycle northbound on the road when he came upon a southbound van which was making a turn into a parking lot.
The rider was unable to avoid a collision which ejected him from the bike.
Despite wearing a helmet, the motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was Scripps Memorial Hospital located in La Jolla. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
The motorist was unhurt. He remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
