Martin Rodriguez-Signor ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Petaluma Crash on Tomales Petaluma Road and Twin Bridge Road
Petaluma, California (July 11, 2018) – The motorcyclist who was killed Monday afternoon in a traffic accident in Petaluma has been identified as Martin Rodriguez-Signor, 23, of Petaluma, according to a local news source.
The fatal crash occurred at around 3:36 p.m. Monday, July 9 in the 2368 block of Tomales Petaluma Road, at Twin Bridge Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Rodriguez-Signor was riding his 2009 Triumph Speed Triple sports motorcycle at a high rate of speed when he swerved into the path of oncoming traffic and collided with a 2018 Toyota Highlander driven by Jack Ramey, 62, of Dillon Beach.
The force of the impact ejected Rodriguez-Signor from the bike.
Rodriguez-Signor died in the crash.
Both vehicles were towed away from the site of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
