Woman Injured in Petaluma 2-Car Crash on Petaluma Blvd near Bailey Avenue
Petaluma, California (November 21, 2017) – Marilyn Ruth Vancleave, 72, of Santa Rosa, was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Petaluma, Sonoma County, on Sunday, November 19.
According to a local news release, the accident occurred at about 1 p.m. on Petaluma Boulevard near Bailey Avenue.
As per the article, Vancleave was driving her old-model Ford Explorer when her vehicle was rear-ended by a Nissan Xterra operated by 37-year-old Melody Anne Hopkins.
The impact of the collision sent the Ford off the roadway where it struck a tree before it overturned onto its side.
Vancleave was extricated from the wreckage before she was rushed to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
