Man Killed in Manteca Pedestrian Accident on North Main Street near Alameda Street
Manteca, California (November 20, 2017) – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle in Manteca, San Joaquin County, on Friday, November 17.
According to a local news release, the fatal incident occurred at about 7 p.m. in the 500 block of North Main Street near West Alameda Street.
As per the report, the man was struck by a late-model Lexus.
The pedestrian, a 55-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. His identity, however, was not immediately established.
No word on the involved motorist was provided.
