At Least One Severely Injured in Alhambra 2-Car Crash on 10 Freeway
Alhambra, California (December 11, 2017) – A two-car collision left at least one person severely hurt Sunday afternoon, December 10, on the eastbound 10 Freeway, just east of Garfield Avenue, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident occurred at around 1:20 p.m.
A female party was found trapped in one of the cars described as a blue Hyundai by first responders. The CHP officials said that the Hyundai spun out and was blocking the HOV and No.1 lanes.
According to officials, at least one person suffered severe injuries in the accident.
Alhambra Fire and San Gabriel Fire departments were summoned to the scene to assist in clearing operation.
All lanes of the freeway were reopened at around 2:03 p.m.
No further information about the incident was provided.
