Man Injured in Barstow Pedestrian Accident on East Main Street
Barstow, California (November 28, 2017) – Jose A. Correa, 26, was injured in an alleged hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Barstow on Monday, November 27.
According to a local news source, the pedestrian accident occurred in the 1600 block of East Main Street at about 2:13 a.m.
As per the article, the pedestrian had been crossing the road when he was hit by a vehicle.
Paramedics responding to the incident found the injured pedestrian lying on the northbound lanes of the roadway.
Correa, a resident of Ashland in Wisconsin, was flown to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment of major injuries.
Meanwhile, the authorities are yet to locate and arrest the driver of the involved vehicle who fled the scene after the collision.
The vehicle was described as an old-model Chevrolet Tahoe, possibly with a front-end damage.
