Jessica Bachman Hurt after Redbluff DUI Accident on Highway 99W near Westover Road
Red Bluff, California (April 16, 2019) – 40-year-old Jessica Bachman has been identified as the woman injured after a head-on collision late Saturday night in the area of Redbluff, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash happened at around 11:45 p.m. Saturday, April 13, on Highway 99W near Westover Road.
As per the report, 51-year-old Pablo Rivera Orellana of Red Bluff was driving a Toyota Corolla south on the highway when he drifted into the northbound lanes and crashed head-on with an oncoming 2011 Dodge Ram pickup driven by Bachman.
Bachman and a 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy were driving home from their high school prom. The woman and the boy sustained minor injuries while the girl suffered moderate injuries to her head, neck, back, and knee.
Orellana suffered severe injuries including head trauma and internal injuries. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Orellana was later arrested by police on suspicion of DUI causing bodily injury and driving without a license.
