Man Injured in Santa Rosa Bicycle Accident on Guerneville Road
Santa Rosa, California (December 20, 2017) – Gregory Pinard, 67, was identified as the bicyclist who was injured in a collision on Monday, December 18, according to a local news source.
The accident occurred at about 10:45 p.m. on Guerneville Road near of Abramson Road.
As per the article, Pinard had been riding his bicycle westbound on Guerneville Road when he was hit from behind by a 1999 Toyota RAV4. The impact of the collision ejected the rider from his bicycle.
Pinard, a resident of Bodega Bay, was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with severe but non-life threatening injuries.
The motorist, 55-year-old Anna Paredes of Santa Rosa, told the authorities that she did not immediately notice the bicyclist riding ahead of her.
