Cole Jensen Hospitalized after Middletown Crash on Highway 175 near Anderson Springs Road
Middletown, California (May 14, 2019) – 17-year-old Cole Jensen of Middletown was airlifted after a head-on collision Sunday afternoon in Middletown, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at around 5:36 p.m. May 12, on Highway 175, just north of Anderson Springs Road.
As per the authorities, a 1992 Toyota pickup was heading westbound on Highway 175 when the driver drifted into the eastbound side and crashed into an oncoming 2006 Nissan Altima driven Jensen.
Responding paramedics airlifted Jensen to Napa’s Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment of severe injuries.
The Toyota fled the scene after the collision but he was located in the nearby bushes. The motorist was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
An investigation is ongoing.
