Woman Killed in Santa Rosa Pedestrian Accident at South Wright Road and Finley Avenue
Santa Rosa, California (December 15, 2017) – 56-year-old Barbara Jones, of Santa Rosa, was killed in an alleged hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Wednesday, December 13.
According to a local news source, the accident occurred at about 5:30 p.m. in the area of South Wright Road and Finley Avenue.
As per the article, Barbara Jones was walking in a crosswalk across South Wright Road when she was hit by a minivan operated by 28-year-old Brett St. John from Sebastopol.
Jones sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The motorist initially fled the scene but later turned himself into the police.
