Vacaville Man Killed in Solano Two-Vehicle Collision at Alamo Drive and Marshall Road
Solano County, California (December 7, 2017) – Anthony Costello, 74, of Vacaville, was killed in a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Vacaville on Tuesday, December 5.
According to a local news source, the accident occurred at about 11:50 a.m. at the intersection of Alamo Drive and Marshall Road.
Castello was reportedly driving his red Nissan and was attempting to make a turn at the intersection when he was struck by a white Toyota operated by Brie Eaton, 18, of Vacaville.
Costello sustained serious injuries and was taken to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center where he died while undergoing treatment.
Although an investigation to establish the cause of the accident is ongoing, it is believed that one vehicle may have run a red light.
