3 Killed and 1 Injured in Madera 3-Car Crash on Highway 145 in Madera
Madera, California (November 13, 2017) – Three people were killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Madera on Saturday, November 11, according to a local news source.
The three-car crash occurred on Highway 145 at an unspecified time.
According to a report by the CHP, a Honda Civic was traveling westbound on the highway when it crossed the centerline and hit a GMC Canyon. The Civic then collided head-on with a Honda Accord which was traveling behind the GMC.
Officials say the male driver of the Civic, believed to be in his 20s, was killed in the collision.
The driver of the Accord and his rear passenger were also killed in the collision.
Another passenger in the Accord was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
None of the occupants of the GMC was hurt.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
