3 Injured in Sun Valley Car Crash on North San Fernando Road
Sun Valley, California (November 28, 2017) – Three people were injured in a collision involving an MTA bus and a train in Sun Valley, San Fernando, on Monday, November 27.
According to a local news source, the accident occurred in the 8200 block of North San Fernando Road at about 1:45 a.m.
As per the report, an MTA bus and a vehicle collided near the railway tracks. The impact of the collision sent the bus off the roadway onto the tracks where it was struck by an oncoming Union Pacific train.
At least three people are reported to have been injured in the collision and were taken to a local hospital for treatment. One of the patients was listed in critical condition.
