4 Injured in Cathedral City Car Crash at Ramon Road and San Luis Rey Drive
Cathedral City, California (December 4, 2017) – Four people including two CHP officers were injured in a traffic collision in Cathedral City on Sunday, December 3.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at about 12:49 a.m. at the intersection of Ramon Road and San Luis Rey Drive.
According to a statement by the CHP, the two officers were traveling in their vehicle when for unknown reasons, their car collided with a pickup truck at the intersection.
The two officers and two men from Coachella were injured in the collision and were taken to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs for treatment of injuries described as moderate.
The identities of the patients were not immediately established.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
