1 Killed in Visalia Two-Car Crash at Highway 63 and Avenue 336
Visalia, California (November 24, 2017) – According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was killed in an alleged hit-and-run collision on Wednesday, November 22.
As per the report, the accident occurred at about 11:30 a.m. on Highway 63 at Avenue 336.
Officers responding to the incident recovered one vehicle at the scene. The vehicle, possibly a Honda or a KIA, was blocking the roadway. It is believed that a second vehicle which was involved in the accident sped off after the accident.
One person is reported to have sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the victim was withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.
Both lanes of the road were temporarily shut down to enable authorities to establish the circumstances of the collision.
