1 Killed in Oakland 2-Car Collision at 880 Freeway and 66th Avenue
Oakland, California (December 21, 2017) – At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Oakland on Thursday, December 21.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at about 2:53 a.m. in the southbound side of the 880 Freeway.
A FedEx truck and another car collided for unknown reasons with the impact causing the truck to roll over onto its side.
At least one fatality was reported as a result of the crash.
The identity of the deceased was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
