1 Killed and 2 Injured in Upper Lake 3-Car Crash on Highway 20 near Van Sleeper Road
Upper Lake, California (December 5, 2017) – One person was killed in a collision, which left two other people injured, in Upper Lake on Friday, December 1.
The collision occurred on Highway 20 near Van Sleeper Road at about 5 p.m.
Officials say a Honda was traveling westbound when it made an illegal pass into the path of a Cadillac resulting in a collision.
A KIA which was driving behind the Cadillac was unable to avoid a collision and crashed into the wreckage.
The unidentified driver of the KIA was killed in the collision.
Officials confirmed that the drivers of the Honda and the Cadillac were hurt in the collision. The severity of their injuries, however, was not immediately established.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
