1 Killed and Another Injured in Santa Ana Two-Car Accident on 55 Freeway
Santa Ana, California (November 28, 2017) – A woman was killed in a traffic collision in Santa Ana on Monday, November 27.
According to a local news source, the fatal multi-vehicle collision occurred on the 55 Freeway near Warner Avenue at about 12:30 a.m.
Officials say the 31-year-old woman was traveling north on the freeway when for unknown reasons, she rear-ended another vehicle. Her vehicle was then hit by a third vehicle.
Paramedics dispatched to the scene arrived found the woman had already died.
The driver of the third vehicle was hospitalized with major injuries including a broken pelvis.
The identities of the victims were not immediately revealed.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
